About us

Devon and Cornwall SARC provides help and support after rape or sexual assault for people in Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We do this through our sexual assault referral centres in Exeter, Plymouth and Truro. We offer medical assistance, forensic assessment, guidance, support and access to an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) through a single point of contact at 0300 3034626 or by filling in a short referral form. All of our staff are specially trained to support people who have been sexually assaulted.

Tell us about your experiences on Care Opinion

If you’ve experienced our services recently, either as a patient yourself or as a carer or friend of someone else, please tell us how it was. Was it good? What could have been better? Your story will be handled confidentially by the non-profit service Care Opinion, an independent organisation that provides an online forum for patient feedback. Your story may appear (without your name) on their website. Care Opinion asks the health service to respond to the feedback you share, but does not reveal your identity. What to do if you have a complaint

As well as being told when we do things well, we also need to know when things don’t go so well. When this happens you can support us by letting us know what the problem is as soon as possible. We hope that the relationship built up between you and our staff will enable you to raise any issues or concerns you may have with them directly.
